Olanzo appoints José Miguel Zamora as Chief Legal and Compliance Officer

Olanzo, a part of Mayanor Ventures, is an adaptable digital payments and CRM platform available first in Costa Rica. Today, the company announced the appointment of José Miguel Zamora as its new Chief Legal and Compliance Officer.


José brings deep experience from Costa Rica’s fintech and financial services ecosystem, including his role as President of the Fintech Association of Costa Rica. He joins Olanzo at a pivotal time as the company expands its platform to help local merchants accept fast, bank-verified payments while building loyalty and long-term customer relationships.


In his role, José will be responsible for shaping and overseeing Olanzo’s compliance framework across payments, data protection, and financial crime prevention. He will work closely with engineering and commercial teams to ensure the platform meets regulatory requirements while remaining usable and accessible for small and medium-sized businesses.
