Mayanor welcomes Niklas Lind as a new investor and as an advisor to support the launch phase of the company’s app, Olanzo, in Costa Rica.

Olanzo, Mayanor’s daughter company, is preparing for the launch of its payment and loyalty app, designed to reshape how Costa Rican consumers interact with their favorite brands and businesses. It builds on the foundation of Sinpe Móvil, the national payment network that is already deeply integrated into Costa Rica’s financial ecosystem, creating opportunities to layer on loyalty, rewards, and other innovative services.

Niklas brings more than 20 years of telco experience across Europe, Asia, and for the past seven years, in South America. His expertise spans product design, brand, marketing, customer experience, and overall go-to-market strategy, with an impressive track record of helping companies scale revenues from around $200 million to $1 billion USD. Niklas has held leadership roles in major telcos Telenor and WOM Chile, supporting the drive for growth in competitive markets.

“Niklas played a key role in scaling new products and services as CMO at WOM Chile, and we’re proud to welcome him into the Mayanor fold, both as an investor and a trusted advisor during this critical launch phase in Costa Rica. With his experience, strategic mindset, and track record of impact, we’re confident he’s the right person for the task ahead,” says Christopher Laska, Chairman of the Board, Mayanor.

Currently based in Santiago, Chile, Niklas will be on the ground in Costa Rica to support the launch of the Olanzo app, ensuring the rollout benefits from his knowledge of the Latin American market.

“The Olanzo app is a massive leap forward in user experience, interface, and the ecosystem you can develop around it. I see strong opportunities for expansion beyond Costa Rica, which is why I’m not only supporting the launch, but also investing in it,” says Niklas.
